Paintstripping at Brocton Park

Brocton Park has invested in a paintstripping system which does not involve the old method of merely submerging the wood for a given period in acid.

A technique of recirculating and constantly flowing specialist paint removing chemicals over the wood removes only the paint and not the surface of the wood itself.

The resulting finish is second to none!

The doors shown to the top right were well over 50 years old and the first one stripped is seen in the middle of the bottom picture.
